MALALA YOUSAFZAI: A GIRL WITH COURAGE
–Anya Gupta
In a world full of men,
Dominating others,
It is hard for girls to study
Who are only expected to be mothers.
But one girl came through,
Her eyes shining bright,
She guided women on the path of education
With a few words of might.
She said girls are not silhouettes,
To be hidden from the world,
They should also have education
To be strong and bold.
But some fanatic believers
Did not approve of this,
They hid near her school bus,
And shot her without a miss
But still she fought,
Dauntless she was,
And saw to it, that girls got education
Without a second thought.
She is the kind of girl,
Who holds her head high,
Capture her by storm ;
But she won’t let you break her
She is strong, she is unique
With a will stronger than steel
And substantiated pride,
She created her own resplendence and light
She emerged a warrior through the tempests,
Rising winsome and alluring from the ashes,
She is driven and tenacious,
She is strong, she is vivacious.
