National Feminist Leadership Bootcamp

Have you ever wanted to step into the shoes of world leaders and representatives of organizations like UN Women and United Nation’s Commission on the Status of Women? Are you passionate about striving for change in the world you live in? Do you believe that the world should be equal for men & women?

If you answered yes to any of the above, REGISTER NOW for the first National Feminist Leadership Bootcamp organized by Rebel Girls Interactions & Generation Equality Forum- UN Women!

DATE: 15th – 16th October (Saturday, Sunday)

TIME:  2.45pm to 6.30pm

ELIGIBILITY:  Boys & Girls, ages 13 to 17 years 

 Format:

Based on the diplomatic format of debate and negotiations, the Rebel Girls National Feminist Leadership Bootcamp in partnership with UN Women India, provides an opportunity for participants to debate and negotiate a resolution to achieve Gender Equality in the world. The recommendations will be submitted to UN Women in India for further action!

Discussion Area:

Participants must select one roundtable at the time of registration:

  1. CARE Roundtable: Covid-19 Association for the Recovery of Economies

Topic: Female employment in the economic workforce

About: Participants of this Roundtable will work towards finding solutions for what should be done to improve women’s employment and workforce participation as the economy recovers post the Covid-19 pandemic.

 

  1. NARI Roundtable: National Association on Rural India

Topic : Assessing the Female Literacy and Education  in India

About: Participants of this Roundtable will work towards finding solutions for improving female literacy and girl education in India, from school to higher education.

 

  1. WISE Roundtable: Women in Society & Economies

Topic : Tackling gender based discrimination and inequality around the globe

About: Participants of this Roundtable will work towards finding solutions for reducing gender based inequalities on a global scale.

 

  1. NICE Roundtable: Nurturing and Improving Cybersecurity for Equality

Topic: Ensuring cybersecurity and a safe environment for women in the Internet 

About: Participants of this Roundtable will work towards finding solutions for creating a safe cyber secure environment for women and girls globally.
