DESCRIPTION:  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \nThis Rebel Girls Interaction – LEAD- will educate students about how modern day diplomacy works through the story of Nishtha Satyam\, UN Women Country Representative for Timor Leste. It will cover the role of Sustainable Development Goals\, especially SDG 5- Gender Equality and the role of global political leadership needed to achieve it. \nThis session is open to children ages 10 to 17 years. \nAbout the Speaker:\nNishtha Satyam is the youngest person to serve as the Country Representative for UN Women in the world\, across all 193 counties and currently serves as Head of Mission\, UN Women in Timor Leste. Prior to this\, she headed UN Women’s Country Office for India\, Sri Lanka and Maldives. Being a staunch feminist\, she loves having conversations regarding topics surrounding gender equality and feminism! \n
